Beaver Acres Farm is a small-scale vegetable farm in Guys Mills, PA. The farm’s main crop is sweet corn which has enjoyed much acclaim with the local consumers. The farm also grows various Fall crops including Winter squash, mellons and pumpkins. Sustainable farming practices are exercised and this farming family practices a number of environmentally conscious methods focused on improvement of soil, plant health and sustainability of the surrounding ecosystem.
The Artistic Beaver by JessicASchriner is an arts and crafts based business started by the farmers wife. Custom art works such as acrylic portraits, farm business signs and decorative painted objects are produced at the farmstead. Unique one-of-a-kind costume jewelry is also created and can be found on Market Days at the Meadville Market House.
Beaver Acres Farm was established in 2015, however the farmstead has been family owned and maintained since its purchase in 1950 for various farming ventures. Beaver Acres Farm products are sold at the Meadville Market House, Meadville PA and other NWPA Market Locations. Consumers and Local Organizations can also contact the farm to discuss their individual requests.
